The points of reference for "Vanish" and "Perish" are not entirely clear, as there are no alphabetical entries for these terms. The Octavo Index indicates that 748 [Vanish] and 852 [Perish] might be the earliest entries in the numerical section of the Alvearium, but the pages on which those entries would appear are missing from the manuscript.
